Janice Joan Hoover

Middletown...Janice Joan (Whitworth) Hoover, 64, resident of Middletown, died unexpectedly Friday at St. Johns Medical Center in Anderson.She was born in Henry County, July 24, 1941, the daughter of Charles and Phyllis Benbow Whitworth.She had worked as a secretary and accounts payable clerk for Muncie Healthcare in Muncie for 15 years.She was part owner and operator of Old West Galleries in Middletown.She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution of Henry County and loved the Native American life-style.Survivors include a daughter: Barbara Hoover of Middletown, her parents: Charles and Phyllis Whitworth of Middletown, aunts, uncles, and several cousins, as well as a special friend: Merrill ""Mert"" Pyle of Anderson.Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 am at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown, with Rev.
