Anderson...Janice Stover Workman Ford, 81, resident of Anderson, passed away October 20, 2010 at her residence.She was born in Ameagle, WVa, January 23, 1929, the daughter of Eli and Minnie Perry Stover.She had been a homemaker most of her life but had worked at Montgomery Ward, E and W. Market in Middletown and Shumaker Electric.She was preceded in death by her firm husband Eldridge Workman in 1974 and her second husband Jack Ford in 2009.She was a member of the Southdale Church of the Nazarene.She moved to Anderson in 1982 after living in Middletown since 1955. Survivors are 3 daughters: Elicia Wilson (Barry) of Bourbannais, Ill., Beth Smith (Randall) of Middletown, and Vera Gardner (Tony) of Bloomington, IN, 1 son: Eric Workman (Karen) of Northfield, MN, 1 step daughter: Stephanie Swart (Tom) of Columbus, OH, sister in law: Dollie Osborne of Middletown, 9 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and one on the way, 1 brother: Melvin ""Dud"" Stover of Bidwell, OH and 1 sister: Irene Wiseman of Marmet WVa., several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 2:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown with Rev. Gary Klinger of Anderson First Church of the Nazarene and Rev. Marty Ballard of the Yorktown Church of the Nazarene officiating.Burial will follow in Miller Cemetery in Middletown.Friends may call on Saturday from 4-8 PM at the funeral home.Memorials may be made to the Southdale Church of the Nazarene.Online Guestbook at:
