Janet Lou Berry, 87, resident of Middletown, passed away January 29, 2021 at St. Vincent's Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born in Middletown, Indiana, June 12, 1933, the daughter of Emory and Lorene Chapman Hodson.
She was a 1951 graduate of Sujphur Springs High School and retired after 30 years at General Motors.
She worked as a hairdresser for 13 years and was a member of the Upper Fall Creek Church of the Brethren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother James Hodson.
She is survived by her son, Kevin Crabill (Pamela) of Middletown and 2 grandchildren, Ross (Amanda) Crabill of Muncie and Emily (Theo) Eaglind of Middletown and 2 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 2:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown. Burial will follow at Mechanicsburg Cemetery.
Friends may call on Thursday from noon until the time of the services with Covid-19 restrictions.
Memorials may be made to the Upper Fall Creek Church of the Brethren.
