Avon...Jane Ellen (Cavanaugh) Barttrum, 72, resident of Avon and former resident of Muncie, passed away in Nashville, Tennessee on Wednesday, March 24, 2021. She was born in Muncie, Indiana, January 26, 1949, the daughter of Robert Emmitt Cavanaugh and Mildred C. Ireland Stewart.
She attended Muncie Central High School and worked as a secretary for Temple Baptist Church for several years. She worked at J. C. Penny, Johns Awful Awful, and as an inspector for Product Action Company.
She is survived by her husband: Terry Barttrum, Sr. of Avon, 3 sons: Tim (Ami) Barttrum of Yorktown, Terry of Avon and Chris Barttrrum of Avon, 5 grandchildren: Kurt of Fishers, Kierston of Nashville, TN, Derrick, Caden and Brilee all of Muncie.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 1:00 PM April 1, 2021 at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 8212 South Walnut Street, Daleville with Pastor James Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory in Muncie.
Friends may call from 11:00 am until the time of the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
Indiana state Covid restrictions will apply with social distancing and facial masking.
