Hicksville, OH.....Jamie ""James"" Bradley Charles Cummings, 41, former Middletown resident, passed away near Toledo Ohio unexpectedly.He was born in Muncie, May 20, 1973, the son of Bradley and Monica Jane Ellingwood Cummings of Mill Spring, NC.He was a 1991 graduate of Shenandoah High School and worked at Taylor Made Glass.He was a veteran of the US Air Force serving in the first gulf war and was deployed three time in Afghanistan. Besides his parents, he is survived by 2 children: Chaz Cummings USMC, Camp Lajune, and Caroline Cummings of Homerville, GA., his parents, 1 brother: Joshua Cummings (Tiffany) and 1 sister: Eli (Doug) Cummings-McLeish, 1/2 sister: Brandi Cummings Huff of Middletown, 5 nephews and 2 nieces, Aunts, Uncles, cousins and many dear friends.A Celebration of life will be held on Sunday at 6:00 PM at the Middletown Church of the Nazarene, 698 North 5th, Middletown. Friends may call from 2-6 at the church on Sunday.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Caroline and Chaz in his honor.Letters will be made available for all in attendance to sign and send to your congressmen concerning the need for better care and assistance for all veterans.
