Daleville...James Raymond Stewart, 77, resident of Daleville, passed away August 28, 2020 at Signature Health care in Muncie. He was born in Gary Indiana, March 4, 1943, the son of Ralph and Beulah Morton Stewart.
He was a graduate of Middletown High School and a veteran of the US Navy serving on the USS Forrestal. He retired from General Motors and attended the Middletown United Methodist Church.
Surviving are two sisters, D"Maris Schoneburg of Arapahoe, NB and Voneta Adams (Robert G ) of Muncie, 1 brother, Bill Stewart of Vincennes, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 niece, sister-in-law and brother-in-law. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday September 8, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown, IN. Burial will follow at Miller Cemetery. Friends may call one hour before the service at the funeral home. CDC restrictions of social distancing, masks and hand sanitation will apply.
