Middletown...James Rogers, 79, resident of Middletown, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday morning at his residence.He was born in Middletown, December 4, 1936, the son of Raymond and Lillian Clark Rogers.He was a graduate of Middletown High School and retired from Delco Remy, General Motors.He drove a bus for Shenandoah Schools for over 30 years and was a member of the Eagles, Moose and Elks lodges. He was also a member of the American legion.He farmed for several years and was also a member of the UAW 662.Survivors are his children: Randy (Tina) Webb of Elkhart, Carrie Clark of Anderson and Jeremy Rogers of Middletown, 2 grandchildren, 1 sister: Nancy Dickerson of Anderson.He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers: John and David and 1 sister: Mary Dalzell.A Celebration of his life will take place on Saturday at 2:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown with Dr. Philip C. Rogers officiating.Burial will follow in Miller Cemetery, Middletown.Friends may call from noon until the time of the services on Saturday.Memorials may be made to the charity of the donors choice.Online Guestbook at:
