Middletown...James Rogers, 79, resident of Middletown, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday morning at his residence.He was born in Middletown, December 4, 1936, the son of Raymond and Lillian Clark Rogers.He was a graduate of Middletown High School and retired from Delco Remy, General Motors.He drove a bus for Shenandoah Schools for over 30 years and was a member of the Eagles, Moose and Elks lodges. He was also a member of the American legion.He farmed for several years and was also a member of the UAW 662.Survivors are his children: Randy (Tina) Webb of Elkhart, Carrie Clark of Anderson and Jeremy Rogers of Middletown, 2 grandchildren, 1 sister: Nancy Dickerson of Anderson.He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers: John and David and 1 sister: Mary Dalzell.A Celebration of his life will take place on Saturday at 2:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown with Dr. Philip C.
