James Eugene Hodson

Middletown....James Eugene Hodson, 80, resident of Middletown passed away July 13, 2019 at Community Hospital in Anderson.
He was born in Markleville, August 6, 1938, the son of Emory and Lorene Chapman Hodson. He was a graduate of Sulphur Springs High School and retired from General Motors in 1992 after 30 years of service.
He was a member of the Sulphur Spring Masonic Lodge and the UAW 662.
Survivors are his wife of 32 years: Patsy Ann (Poole) of Anderson, children: Rick (Cindy) Hodson of Middletown, Renee Kirskey of Mo, Gregory Thompson of Pleasant Lake, Todd Thompson of Angola, and Jill (Mike) Hensley of Greensburg, 5 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. and a sister: Janet Berry of Middletown.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter: Robin as well as his faithful friend, his dog: Jake.
Services will be Thursday at 2:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown. Burial will follow in Mechanicsburg Cemetery, Middletown.
Friends may call on Thursday from noon until the time of the services.
