Middletown....James Wright Frees, 82, resident of Middletown, passed away at St. Vincent Regional Hospital in Anderson after an extended illness.He was born in Muncie, September 13, 1932, the son of Golie and Mabel Wright Frees.He was a graduate of Alexandria High School and a US Army veteran. He worked as a chef at the Moose Lodge, Delaware County Country Club, Anderson Country Club, Edgewood Country Club and the Greenhouse Restaurant in Indianapolis.He drove a truck for Coca Cola, Standard Oil and several concrete companies.He had also been a licensed barber.Survivors include his wife of 49 years: Linda (Reedy) of Middletown, 1 daughter: LeAnna Marie Frees of Middletown and 1 son: John Robert Frees of Middletown, 1 grandchild: Shelby Rebekah Allgood (Chris Harris) of Middletown.He was preceded in death by his parents and a son: James Joseph.A celebration of his life will held on Friday at 2:00 PM at Ballard and Sons, 118 South 5th, Middletown with Rev.
