Daleville...James Earl Dunn, 67, resident of rural Daleville, passed away Tuesday morning at Mercy General Hospital in Sacremento, CA, after a brief illness.He was born in Indiana, July 31, 1944, the son of Albert Earl and Dorothy Vernon Badgley Dunn.He worked for over 45 years with ABB (Westinghouse) in Muncie and over the entire United States.He was a member of the Yorktown Church of the Nazarene and loved to golf, fish, travel and ride his Harley.He was preceded in death by his parents.Survivors include his wife: Beverly (Scott) Dunn of Daleville, 2 sons: Brian (Cindy) Dunn of Yorktown and Greg Dunn of Avon, 1 Daughter: Sandra (Chris) Franklin of Muncie, 7 grandchildren: Caleb (Kelly Brown) Dunn and Corinne Dunn of Yorktown, LeAnne Bess and Robbie Bess of Muncie, Bailey Dunn of Avon, Michelle Bess of Muncie and Andrew Dunn of Avon, 1 great grandchild: Hailey Dunn of Yorktown, 3 sisters: Nancy Johnson of Yorktown, VA and Judy Hines and Vicki Vaught of Yorktown, IN, several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be Monday at 10:00 am at the Yorktown Church of the Nazarene, 9001 Arch Street, Yorktown with Pastor Marty Ballard officiating.Burial will follow at Saunders Cemetery, east of Daleville.Friends may call on Sunday at the church from 4-8 PM.Online Guestbook at:
