Middletown...James Edward Allison, 59, resident of Middletown, passed away unexpectedly Saturday evening at his home.He was born in Columbus, Indiana, July 14, 1956, the son of James E. Allison Sr. and Marjorie (Sonnefield) Allison.He retired from General Motors plant 20 and loved to work on cars and go to car shows.He was a US Army veteran of Vietnam.Survivors include his wife: Roberta (Bobbie) Allison of Middletown, his mother: Marjorie Allison, 3 sons: Brian and Jerry of Middletown and Steve of Anderson, sisters: Judy Foster of Indianapolis and Christy Allison of Middletown, brother: David Allison of Middletown, grandchildren: Austin and Alan Allison of Anderson, sister-in-laws: Sandy Etchison of Pendleton and Karen Reel of Gaston, brother-in-law: Richard McWithy of Anderson, several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his father and a sister: Patty Allison.Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 2:00 at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown, IN with Dr. Philip C. Rogers and Rev.
