Jacob (Jake) Aaron Williams age 40, passed away after a brief illness on Monday, October 10, 2022. He was born in Muncie, IN on March 15,1982.
He graduated from Daleville High School in 2000. He graduated from Ball State University with a Bachelor’s in Telecommunications in 2005, and a Master’s in digital storytelling in 2009. Jake was an accomplished writer, director and producer of many commercial videos and museum virtual displays. He had written numerous screenplays and authored a children’s book- The 437th Annual Snowball Fight, published in 2012.
Jake is survived by his parents; Rex and Carol Williams; his brother, Caleb Andrew (Dana) Williams; one niece, Stella Quinn Williams; Uncles and Aunts, Bud (Deborah) Dudley, Nancee Baker, Rock (Judi) Williams, Mark (Kris) Williams; cousins, Christopher Wood, Mindy Kidd, Chelsea (William) Oberle, Ryan (Robyn) Williams, Mariah (Matt) Elder, and a number of other family members.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Laura Dudley, Son Williams, William Dudley Sr, John Caldwell and Elizabeth Caldwell; one uncle, Michael Baker; and a cousin, Grady Williams.
Services will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at 12:00 PM with Rev. Mark Dill officiating at Muncie First Church of the Nazarene. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to NAMI, 921 East 86th Street, Suite 130, Indianapolis, IN 46240. Arrangements have been entrusted to Ballard and Sons Funeral Home in Daleville, IN.
