Jackie Charles Cole

Cadiz....Jackie Charles Cole, 80, resident of Cadiz, passed away Thursday, December 1, 2016 at his home. He was born September 1, 1936 in Indiana, the son of Luther Garrett and Rosa Etta Wisehart Cole.He worked at Delco Remy as a stock chaser for 31 years and was a member of the UAW Local 662. He attended the Middletown Church of the Nazarene and was a volunteer firefighter with the Cadiz Fire Department where he had been chief.In his retirement, he loved garden tractor pulls, collecting Coke items, knives and Jeff Gordon memorabilia from yard sales and antique malls. He enjoyed bingo, cornhole and rooting for the Dodgers as well as spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.He is survived by his wife of 60 years: June (Gibbons) Cole of Cadiz, two daughters; Diana Ewing of Fishers and Jacikie (Dewayne) Liebrandt of Martinsville, two sons: Mickey (Darlene) Cole of Kennard and Shane (Ashley) Cole of Cadiz, two brothers: Gerald (Pam) Cole of Anderson and Larry (Shelia) Cole of Cadiz, 12 grandchildren: April, Amber, Daniel, Stephanie, Michael, Autumn, Dawson, Ava, Makayla, Gracie, Mykah and Xavier, nine great grandchildren: Amilla, Caitlyn, Galen, Dakota, Colten, Sphie, Zoee, Naomi, and Drew.A Celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday at 6:00 PM at the Middletown Church of the Nazarene, 698 North 5th, Middletown with Pastor Marty Ballard and Dr. Philip C.
