Jack Allen Williams

Daleville...Jack Allen Williams, 57, resident of Daleville and former resident of Gaston, died Sunday afternoon at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, after an extended illness. He was born in Hartford City, April 12, 1945, the son of Obie Williams and Eva Luzader.He retired from Westinghouse in Muncie (ABB) in 1995 after 34 years of service. He was a 1963 graduate of Harrison High School in Gaston and was active in the Central Indiana Go-Kart Association. He was a member of the laborers union at ABB and was a Vietnam veteran of the US Army. He was preceded in death by his step father, Harold Luzader in 1986 and his mother; Eva Luzader in June of this year.Survivors include 2 sons: Jamie Williams of Yorktown and Jason Williams of Daleville, 1 daughter: Erin Williams and their mother; Linda Williams of Gaston. Also surviving are 2 grandchildren: Ashley and Jeff Williams of Alexandria and 1 sister; Ms. Anne Seals of Muncie, 1 brother; Terry Williams of Indianapolis and several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 1:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 8212 South Walnut Street, Daleville with Pastor John Helton officiating. Military and Dove Release services will be held at Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4-8 PM.
