Daleville...Jack ""Sparky"" Leon Warren, 68, resident of Daleville, passed away Monday evening at his residence.He was born in Anderson, November 16, 1942, the son of Jack L. and Mabel (Hall) Warren.He was a 1961 graduate of Anderson High School and retired from General Motors Guide Lamp in 1993 where he had worked for 30.3 years as a forklift driver.He was a member of the UAW Local 663 and served as chaplain in the factory.He was awarded the Douglas E. Fraser Community Service Award in June 1994.He was an active member of the Trinity Community church in Daleville serving as youth pastor, interim pastor and elder. He was also involved in the ministry of Child Evangelism Fellowship at one time.He was an AWANA leader and was active in missions trips to Brazil and the Dominican Republic.Survivors include his wife of 48 years: Linda Coss Warren of Daleville, two daughters: Kelly Lindsay (Anthony) of Daleville and Tracy Maier (Scott) of Anderson, grandchildren, Jason Johnston, Kasey lECKRONE (Neal), Zach Johnston, Andrea Maier, Abbey Maier, Julia Maier, Ben Maier, Blake Lindsay and Chauncy Maier, 1 great grandchild: Payton Leckrone,1 niece and 3 nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents.We would like to give special thank you to Lifestream and Johnny; also the Community Home Health Services (Hospice) Team; Autumn, Sherri, and Hilary.Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday at Trinity Community Church in Daleville with Pastor Paul Pletcher officiating.Burial will follow in Saunders Cemetery, east of Daleville.Friends may call at the church on Satruday from noon until 3.Memorial contributions may be made to the Community Home Health Services and Trinity Community Church.Arrangements have been entrusted to Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, Daleville Chapel.Online Guestbook at:
