J Darby Baldwin, 52, of Daleville passed away Thursday, July 11, 2024 at his residence. He was born October 8, 1971 in Anderson, Indiana to Michael Jay and Linda (Terry) Baldwin.
Darby was a 1990 graduate of Daleville High School. He loved the outdoors, animals, guitars, music and especially motorcycles. He was a jack of all trades and had the tools and skills to fix anything. Darby was always high spirited and enjoyed making others laugh. He had a kind heart and always helped others in need. His greatest joy in life was being the father to his son, Wyatt.
He is survived by his son, Wyatt Baldwin (Cheyenne Toombs); mother, Linda (Chuck) Shields; sister, Tori (Duane) Givens; several aunts, uncles, cousins; stepsiblings, Krista, Heather, Brad and Angie (John) Parrish.
In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his stepsister, Jamie (Donnie) Harless; stepbrother, Chris Hooten; caregiver and best friend, Theresa Griggs and many other close family members.
A celebration of life will be held from 2:00-4:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 20, 2024 at his parent’s residence, 6609 W. County Rd 700 S. Daleville, IN 47334. Arrangements have been entrusted to Ballard and Sons Funeral Home-Daleville Chapel.
