Ivan James Caine

Middletown...Ivan James (Whitey) Caine, 90, resident ot Middletown Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, passed away Thursday, at the nursing home.He was born in Sulphur Springs, January 31, 1913, the son of Harley and Mary Bowers Caine.He had farmed his entire life.Survivors include 1 daughter: Joy Hornaday of Middletown, 2 sons: Michael and Jerry Caine of New Castle, 7 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his wife Betty and 2 sons: Phil and Bill Caine.Funeral services will be held Monday at 2:30 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown with burial to follow in Miller Cemetery.Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-5 PM.Memorials may be made to the Henry County Heart Society.Online Guestbook available at: www.ballardandsons.com
