Iva C. Retter

Iva C. Retter, 90, resident of Anderson, died Friday morning at Community Hospital in Anderson after a brief illness. She was born in Pochahotus, AK, April 8, 1912 the daughter of William M and Elizabeth Harris Ring. She had retired from St. Johns Medical Center in 1967 after working as aNurses Aid for 15 years. She retired in 1969. She had lived in the Anderson/Muncie area her entire life. She attended the New Hope Christian Church in Anderson. Survivors are 2 sons: Jack C. Retter of Andersona nd Charles Retter of Deer Lodge, TN, 1 sister: Martha Delaney of Gaston 7 grandchildren, 1 step grandchild, 8 great grandchildren and 3 step great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday at 1:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 8212 South Walnut, DALEVILLE, with Chaplain Richard True officiating. Burial will follow at Bronnenburg Cemetery in Chesterfield. Friends may call on Monday from 11:00 am until the time of the services. Memorial contributions may be made to Liberty Christian School.
