New Castle...Iva Aline Martin, 79, longtime resident of New Castle, died August 14, 2004 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Hospital in Carmel after a sudden illness.She was born in Hegria, KY, May 23, 1925, the daughter of Joe Henry and Annie Elva (Ashton) Jarvis.She attended New Castle High School and had been a homemaker most of her life. She was a lifetime member of the V.F.W. Post 1282.She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 daughter: Joyce House in 1966.Survivors include her husband: Don Martin of New Castle, IN, 3 children: Jack (Darlene) Martin of Straughn, Joe (Debbie) Martin of Ruckersville, VA and Donna Jean (Husband:Corby Summerville), Sequim, Washington, 4 sisters: Betty Ann (Steven) Borum of Spiceland, Patty (Allen) Neal of New Castle, Evelyn Lowe of Rushville and Shirley King, New Castle, 3 Brothers: Curt (Mary) Jarvis of Springport, Jackie Jarvis of Muncie, and Bobby (Kay) Jarvis of New Castle, 9 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am Wednesday morning at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown with Rev.
