Middletown...Imogene Puckett Harter, 97, resident of Middletown for over 80 years, passed away Thursday at Middletown Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.She was born in Raysville, Indiana, January 20, 1909 the daughter of Walter J. and Cora Alexander Puckett.She had been a homemaker and had been active in the College Corner Home Economics Club and was a 50 year member of the Middletown Order of the Eastern Star.She had attended Knightstown Christian Church, Middletown United Methodist Church and the Sixth Street Christian Church in Middletown.Survivors include: 1 son: William (Patsy) Harter of Springport, 7 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her husband: Harry Harter in 1985, son: Charles Harter in 2005, an infant son at birth, 1 brother: William Glenn Puckett, 2 grandsons: Tyrone and DWayne Harter.Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 2:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown with OES memorial services conducted at the funeral.Friends may call from noon until the time of the services on Tuesday at the funeral home.Cremation will take place at a later date.Online Guestbook at:
