Daleville...Howard Neil Wilson, 71, resident of Daleville, died early Thursday morning at The Waters Nursing Home in Yorktown after an extended illness.He will be missed by all who know him for his playful personality.He was born September 18, 1932, the son of Lawrence and Faye DeForrest Wilson.He was an Anderson High School graduate and worked in construction as wll as a truck driver for Marsh Supermarkets for 30 years.He was a member of Teamsters Union 135 of Indianapolis.Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Caroline Wilson, brother: Sigle Wilson, son; Larry Baker and a daughter; Davia Brown.Survivors include: 3 daughters: Terri K. Wilson of Yorktown, Barbara Gomm of Anderson and Susan (Gary) Mader of Yorktown, 1 son: Arthur Baker of San Diego, CA, 1 sister-in-law and caregiver: Danah Carver of Daleville, 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, 1 nephew.Funeral services will be held on Monday at 2:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 8212 South Walnut Street, Daleville with Scott Moore officiating.Burial will follow at Hartford City Cemetery in Hartford City, Indiana.Friends may call at the funeral on Monday from noon until the time of the services.Online Guestbook available at: www.ballardandsons.com
