Daleville...Howard Franklin Jeffries, 76, resident of the Middletown/Daleville area, passed away Sunday morning at St. Johns Medical Center in Anderson.He was born in Elizabethtown, KY, July 12, 1934, the son of Emmett and Vira Best Jeffries.He was a graduate of Hardensburg High School and retired from Delco Remy in Anderson.He is survived by his children: Brent of Melissa TX, Brice (Debbie Wilson) of Daleville and Amy Jeffries of Daleville, granddaughter: Reagan, brothers: Charles of San Antonio, TX, Faurest (Judy) of Huntingsburg, IN, Phillip (Sylvia) of Jasper, John (Judy) of Huntingsburg, Larry (Judy) of Huntingsburg, 2 sisters: Alice Morris of Jasper and Lula Powell of Sebring, FL, grandog: Bailey.Preceded in death by his parents, his wife : Shelia (Fields) Jeffries, 1 son: Brian Jeffries and 1 sister: Betty Jeffries.Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 am at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown with Dr. Philip C.
