Middletown...Hobert Daniel Miller, 87, resident of Middletown, passed away April 9, 2016 at Miller's Merry Manor in Middletown.He was born July 30, 1928 in Bedford, the son of Charles and Martha Miller.He owned his own roofing company for many years and was a veteran of WW 2 serving in the US Army in Japan. He loved his family, hunting and fishing.Survivors are his children: Pamela Wolf (Edward) of Anderson, Kimberly Pernod (fiancAC.; Rob Stafford) of Fairmount, and Danny Miller (fiancAC.; Katie Lee) of Muncie, grandchildren: Heather White, Josh Tobey, Justin Tobey, Jamie Miller Jon Miller, Trevor Miller, 9 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, brothers: Dean (Sandy) Miller of Bedford, Charles (Donna) Miller of California, and sister: Reva (Russell) Roberts of Bedford and Sharon (Terry) Lucas of Arizons.He was preceded in death by his wife: Nelle Miller, brothers: Homer dale Miller and William ""Bill"" Miller, sisters: Rose Cooney and Lois Walters.A Military graveside service will be conducted on Friday at 2:30 at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery by the Middletown American Legion Honor Guard and the US Army.Friends may call from noon until 2:00 on Friday at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown.Online Guestbook at: www.ballardandsons.comThe Ballard family is honored to celebrate the life of Hobart Miller with family and friends.
