Herschel Junior Musick

Daleville...Herschel Junior Musick, 85, resident of Daleville, passed away Tuesday at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie.He was born in Summitville, Indiana, May 7, 1923, the son of Abraham and Blanche Musick.He retired from Lynch Corporation in Anderson where he worked as a machinist.He was a veteran of US Army in WW 2.He lived in Daleville since 1952 and was a member of the American Legion.He was active in community events and was intrumental in orgnaizing the Daleville Community Park.Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Betty in 2002, a brother: Jack and and 1/2 brother: Edward, and daughter: Shirley RobbinsSurvivors include: 1 son: Mark (Rebecca) Musick of Plainfield, 4 grandchildren: Kelly Mathews (Tim) of Daleville, Kevin Robbins (Laura) of Estero, FL, Jennifer Lancaster (William) of Elgin, Ill, and Eric Musick of Plainfield, 5 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild, 2 sisters: Joycelyn Lehman (Gary) of Muncie and Colleen Hollingsworth of Alexandria and several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10:00 am at Ballad and Sons Funeral Home, 8212 South Walnut Street, Daleville.
