Helen Juanita Young

Muncie...Helen Juanita (Cox) Young, 88, resident of Morrison Woods health Campus of Muncie, passed away Tuesday at the nursing home.She was born in McMinnville, TN, June 3, 1928 the daughter of Edison and Sallie Rogers Cox.She was a graduate of McMinnville High School and was a homemaker most of her life.She was preceded in death by her husband: Jesse.she attended the Columbus Avenue Church of Christ.She is survived by her children: Marion Chittick of Woodstock, GA and Leslie (Sharon) Young of Columbus, OH, 8 grandchildren and 9 1/2 great grandchildren.She was the oldest of 17 brothers and sisters.Graveside services will be held on Saturday at 1:00 PM at Gardens of Memory chapel in Muncie with Pastor Mark Reynolds officiating.Friends may call on Saturday from 10-12 at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 8212 South Walnut Street, Daleville.Online Guestbook at: www.ballardandsons.comthe Ballard family is honored to celebrate the life of Helen with family and friends.
