Helen Pearl Pickel

Middletown-Helen Pearl (Trout) Davis Pickel died peacefully December 21, 2016. Helen was born to Harold Herbert and Laura Marie Trout on January 30, 1940. She attended Highland High School and Ivy Tech. She worked various service jobs, but was primarily a homemaker. Helen was an avid reader and enjoyed travel and visiting with friends.She is survived by her sons; Harold "Tony" Davis of Colorado, Troy (Joyce) Davis of Middletown, and Robert "Patrick" Davis of Anderson, her grandchildren Michael (Amanda) Davis, Renee Davis, Bradley Davis, and Kathryn Davis, and her great grandchildren Brayden and Payton. Several nieces and nephews.Helen was proceeded in death by her parents and her brother Harold Trout.A Celebration of her life will be held on Thursday at 2:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown with Pastor Marty Ballard officiating.Burial will follow in Mooreland Cemetery.Friends may call from 1:00 Pm until the time of the services on Thursday at the funeral home.Online Guestbook at: www.ballardandsons.comMemorials may be made to A.R.F.The Ballard family is honored to celebrate the life of Helen with family and friends.
