Indianapolis...Helen Lillian (Nana) Bohn, 78, passed away peacefully on October 24, 2004.She was born in Perth Amboy, New Jersey on March 14, 1926, the daughter of Calvin and Catherine (Kally) Warren. She grew up in New York City and married Eugene Francis Bohn, the love of her life, on March 16, 1949. They moved to Indianapolis in 1954, where she resided for the remainder of her life.Helen was known to her family and friends as a talented artist, a prize winning pie maker, a motion picture trivia expert for the era ""When movies were movies"", and an avid card player and crossword puzzle solver. She loved to feed the squirrels and the birds that came to her porch.She is survived by a daughter: Barbara (George) Bernier, 2 grandsons: Tommy and Corey Schneider, 9 step-grandchildren: John (Daralyn), Terry (Karen), David (Erika) and Jared (Catina) Schneider, and Tina (Steve) Buckhorn, all of Indianapolis, and Michael, Mark, Christopher, and Pamela Bernier, all of Los Angeles, CA, 15 step-great grandchildren: and a brother; Edward (Gladys) Warren of Palm Bay, FL.She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Gene, her parents, a brother, Eugene, and her sister, Dorothy.Friends may call at the Robert E. Sterrett Center, 8950 East Otis Avenue, Indianapolis, on Thursday from 1-5 PM with a celebration of life service to begin at 5:00 PM. The Sterrett Center is located one block north of East 56th Street and North Post Road.In lieu of flowers, please plant a tree or a rosebush, or set out a feeder for the squirrels and the birds in her remembrance.
