Middletown...Hazel Agnes (Hobbs) Lewis, 92, resident of Middletown, passed away Sunday evening at St. Johns Medical Center in Anderson.She was born July 29, 1919 in Colesville, Maryland, July 29, 1919, the daughter of Claude and Effie Ray Hobbs.She had been a homemaker her entire life.She moved to Middletown in 1945 and had been a member of the Middletown United Methodist Church since that time.She was a member of the Suburban Home Ec. Club, Friendly Club, and was Sunday School Secretary for over 50 years.She had been a Cossack and Raider Season ticket holder for over 50 years.Survivors are three daughters: Judy Goodman, Beverly Manis (Jerry), and Jenny Sanders, all of Middletown, 8 grandchildren: Krista Elhert (Jason) of Locust Grove, VA, Erin Hughes (Ralph)of Fredricksburg, VA, Allison Goodman (Bobby) of Fredricksburg, VA, Angie Beck (Chris) of Middletown, Dale Manis (Cheryl) of Decatur, and Brandi Huff (Jason Tolle) of Middletown, Billy Sanders (Leslie)of Middletown, and Barry Sanders of Middletown, 15 great grandchildren, 1 brother: Alvin Hobbs of Virgina and 1 sister: Audrey Rolfs (Frank) of Venice, FL, several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her husband: Daniel, mother and father, and 1 sister, 4 brothers and 2 nieces.Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 am at the Middletown United Methodist Church with Rev.
