Daleville...Harry W. Redic, 89, passed away early Friday morning at The Waters in Yorktown.He was born in Indianapolis, June 15, 1924, the son of Grover and Lena Blansett Redic.He retired from Chevrolet in Muncie in 1991.He worked as an electrician and served as apprenticeship chairman for many years.He was a US Navy veteran of WW 2 serving on the USS Ranger in both the Pacific and Atlantic through 1941-1945.He was a member of the American Legion, Secretary of the Avondale Credit Union, was Past Master of Solar Lodge F & AM, where he was a 50 year member.Survivors include his wife: Garnett K. (Wyatt) of Daleville, 4 children: Robert (Gloria) of Cullman, AL, Dianna (Jerry) Kirtley of Gaston, Pam (Donald) Savage of Monroe, TN and Tracy Neal of Muncie.He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 sisters and 1 brother.Celebration services will be held in the Spring.
