Harry Phillip Brown

Daleville...Harry Phillip Brown, 74, resident of Daleville, passed away at Manor Care Convalescent Center in Anderson, Thursday morning.He was born in Muncie, June 7, 1934, the son of Harry M. and Violet Scales Brown.He was a graduate of Harrison Township Schools and retired in 1993 from Delco Remy in Anderson where he had been a toolmaker.He was a US Navy veteran of Korea serving in the Philippines.He was a graduate of Ball State Teachers College with a degree in Industrial Arts and was a member of the Daleville Christian Church.Survivors include his wife of 55 years: Barbara Ann (Thomas) of Daleville, son: Jeffrey Alan Brown of Daleville, grandchild: Katrina Brown of Tennessee, sisters: Helen Cross of Muncie, Mona Hood (Paul) of Anderson, Mary Walker (Crawford) of Massachusetts, and Pat Adkins (Marvin) of Muncie, brothers: Jim Brown (Linda) of Gaston, Larry Brown (Jody) of Muncie, and Michael Brown (Kim) of Kokomo, several nieces and nephews.Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 brother: Harold Brown.Funeral services will be held on Monday at 2:00 PM at the Daleville Christian Church with Rev.
