Middletown...Harriet Bushong Collis, 78, lifetime resident of Middletown, died November 30, 2004 at St. Johns Medical Center after a brief illness.She was born in Middletown, May 6, 1926, the daughter of Osa and Gretchen Swain Bushong.She was a graduate of Middletown High School and retired from Delco Remy in Anderson in 1987 after over forty years of service.She was a member of the Cornerstone Ministries of Anderson.She and her husband Shirell Eugene would have celebrated 50 years of marriage next year.She is survived by her husband and 2 children: Mary Ann (Carter) Stewart of Middletown and John (Tammy) Collis of Middletown.She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 sister: Georgiannis Able in 1956.Funeral services will be held on Friday at 3:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown, with Rev. Joe L.
