Yorktown...Harold C. Wages, 81, passed away Thursday at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital.He was born in Preston, KY, May 29, 1932, the son of Roy and Estelle Wells Wages.He was a graduate of Muncie Central High School and retired from Warner Gear in Muncie after 37 years and had lived in Yorktown since 1969.He had been active in Junior Achievement, IOOF and was an elder for 21 years at Bethany Christian Church.Survivors include his wife: Carolyn of Yorktown, 2 sons: Harold Coleman Wages, JR. (Ellen) of Indianapolis and Mark Alan Wages (Mary Suellen) of Muncie, 4 grandchildren: Benjamin Paul Wages, Riva Eisenkraft, Evan Tyler Wages and Philip Carter Wages, 4 great grandchildren, 2 brothers: Walter (Mary Alice) Wages of Anderson and Stephen Wages of Muncie.He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers and 1 sister.Funeral services will be held on Monday at 2:00 PM at Bethany Christian Church in Anderson with Rev. Kent Stookey and Rev.
