Middletown...Harold E. Hornback, 67, resident of Middletown, passed away Friday evening at St. Vincents Regional Hospital, Anderson.He was born in Henry County,Indiana, January 1, 1947 the son of Ronald Hornback and Lenora Van Horn.He was a 1965 graduate of Yorktown High School and served in the US Army.He retired from General Motors in 1996 after 31 years of service.He was an avid golfer and very involved with his grandchildren's sports. He coached youth softball for many years.He is survived by his wife: Barbara (Cox) of Middletown, children: Deanna (Jeff) Fites of Middletown and Christy (Tony) Myers of Middletown, grandchildren: Michelle and Dean Fites and Braydin Myers, sisters: Eileen Stewart of Yorktown, Carol Fender of Muncie and one brother: Kenny Hornback (Bonnie) of Alexandria.He was preceded in death by a brother: Robert Hornback, sisters: Janet Enterkin, Mary Spencer and Barbara Muller, as well as an infant daughter: Sherry Lynn in 1972.A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, February 15, from 5-8 PM at the Middletown Community Building (Lions) in Dietrich Park in Middletown.Memorials may be made to the Shenandoah Softball League, c/o Shelly Kimmerling, 499 North 12th, Middletown, IN 47356.Online Guestbook at:
