Middletown....Harold E. Harris, Sr., 69, resident of Middletown, passed away Wednesday at his residence.He was born in Kentucky, September 20, 1944, the son of John E. Harris and Thelma (Hollis) Hooten.He was graduate of Indianapolis Manual High School and worked his adult life as a Tool and Die Maker.He retired in 2011 from D-! Molds in Daleville and loved bowling, softball, Golf and gardening.Survivors are 3 children: Harold E. Harris, Jr. (Christine Williams) of Pendleton, Alane ""Laney"" Rector (John) of Middletown and George Alan Harris (Eva) of North Vernon, Indiana, 1 sister: Francis Miller of Kentucky and a special Uncle: Herman Lucas, grandchildren: Christopher, Devon and Rachel Harris, Tyler (Rachael), Cody (Emily) and Cory Rector, Paise, Diamond, and Bresa Coan, Shayne, Zachary and Sophia Harris, Gabrella Hernandez and Peyton Hayden, great grandchildren: Serenity Harris, Nolan, Memphis, Adalynn and Raleigh Rector.He was preceded in death by his parents and wife: Carolyn Sue Harris.A Celebration of Life service will be held on Tuesday at 2:00 pm at Ballard & Sons, 118 South 5th, Middletown with Rev.
