Shirley...Harold Ray Farmer, 57, lifetime resident of the Shirley area, died early Thursday morning at Millers Merry Manor in Middletown after a brief illness.He was born in New Castle, IN, the son of George I. and Leona Mae Ebbert Farmer.He was self employed and loved riding motorcycles. He was active in A.B.A.T.E. and prided himself on motorcycle safety and education.He graduated from Cadiz High School in 1965.Survivors include his mother: Leona Mae Clark of Shirley, 1 brother: Duane Clark of Shirley, 1 stepdaughter: Rose Riley of Middletown, Aunts: Fern Cottingham of Anderson, Mary Alice Mooreland of Middletown, Marge Gillis of Muncie, and Uncle Bob Farmer of Sebring, Florida.He was preceded in death by his longtime companion Debra Vitatoe, 1 son: John Henry Farmer, Step Father: Maurice Clark, Father: G. I. Farmer, Aunt: Mamie Stephens,and Uncle: Woody Farmer.Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11:00 am at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown, with Rev.
