Goldie G. Barton

Goldie G. Barton, age 94, a life long resident of Daleville, passed away on July 1, 2005 at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie after an extended illness. She was born on January 25, 1911 in Portland, Indiana and was the daughter of Benjamin Gross and Frances (Brandyberry). She was a graduate of Daleville High School, class of 1929. She was a coil winder at Delco Remy and retired in 1977 after 49 years of service.She was a member of the Daleville United Methodis Churcn and the Daleville Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star #568. She is preceeded in death by her parents and two brothers.She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Lloyd Barton. Several neices and nephews also survive.Visitation will be Tuesday at the Ballard and Sons Funaral in Daleville from 4 until 8.Funeral service will be held at 10 A.M. Wednesday morning at the funeral home with the Rev. Karen Ottjes officiating. Burial will be in Elm Ridge Cemetery in Muncie.
