Golden Easter Huffman

Daleville...Golden Easter Walters Huffman, 84, longtime resident of the Daleville area, died Thursday evening after at extended illness in Millers Merry Manor Nursing Home in Chesterfield.She was born in Crossroads, IN, August 13, 1919, the daughter of Arthur Dallas and Dessie Ethel Brown Walters. She was a 1937 graduate of Daleville High School and had been a homemaker most of her life.Survivors include two daughters: Sandy (Tom) Skinner oand Joyce Lynne (Terry) Wean, both from Daleville, 2 sisters: Bonnie Reger and Alice (Joe) Dunn, both of Anderson, 4 grandchildren: Andy (Deann) Skinner, Rusty (Ellen) Skinner and Heater (Bryan) Alspaugh, all of Daleville and Eric (Kobi) Wean of Shirley, 7 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her husband, George Huffman, and sisters and brothers:Howard, Carl, William, and Junior Walters and Daisy Elsea, Mary Holmes and Betty Casper. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 10:00 am at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 8212 South Walnut St., Daleville.
