Anderson...Gloria A. (Stevenson)Carter, 69, passed away November 25, 2008 at Ball Memorial Hospital-Muncie, after a sudden illness.She was born March 6, 1939 in Anderson and resided in the Middletown/Anderson area all of her life.She was a Middletown High School graduate.She was a homemaker and was a police dispatcher for the Middletown Police Department for many years.She was a member of the Middletown Church of the Nazarene.She is survived by her children: Earl D. Carter, Jr. of Anderson and Mary (Joe) Nethery of Middletown, stepson: Jim (Judy) Carter of Tennessee; grandchildren: Damon Smith, T.J. Nethery, Kate Nethery, Jason Carter, and Travis Carter, special friends: Bonnie Boyd, Terry Catron, Connie and Jerry Gibson, Joyce Blake and Linda Bennett.She was preceded in death by her husband: Earl D. Carter, Sr and her parents Dalton and Leona Case Stevenson.Visitation will be on Sunday from 2-5 at the Middletown Church of the Nazarene, 698 North Fifth, Middletown.Services will be on Monday at 3:00 PM at the church with Dr. Philip C.
