Middletown...Glenna Naomi (Blackburn) Dutcher, 84, resident of Middletown, died Wednesday evening at St. Johns Medical Center in Anderson after an extended illness.She was born in Milford, Ohio, March 28, 1918, the daughter of Donald and Eathel Ralph Blackburn. She had been a homemaker her entire life and lived in Middletown since 1975.She was a member of the White Union Church in Middletown where she had been active in the ladies aid.Survivors are two daughters: Sharon Joan (James) Poore of Tulsa, OK, and Mary Kay (Stephen) Solomon of Middletown, 1 son: Larry Dutcher of Logansport, 5 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, 1 brother: Oliver Blackburn of Bucyrus, Ohio, several nieces and nephews.She had been preceded in death by her husband: Don E. Dutcher in 1984, a son: Douglas Dutcher and 1 grandson: Kevin Solomon.Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:00 am at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown, with Rev. Gordon Barrett and Rev. David Whitteberry officiating.Burial will follow at Green Hills Memory Gardens in New Castle.Friends may call on Friday from 4-8 PM.Memorials may be made to White Union Church through the funeral home.Online Guestbook is available at: www.ballardandsons.com
