Glenda Joann Dillon

Middletown...Glenda Joann Dillon, 79, resident of Middletown, passed away Friday evening at St. Vincent's Regional Hospital in Anderson.She was born in Knightstown, November 2, 1934, the daughter of Herbert and Dorothy Ottinger Smalley.She was a graduate of Middletown High School and retired as a secretary from New Castel Community Schools.She was a member of Tri County Christian Church in Middletown.Survivors are one son: Matthew (Sarah) Dillon of Windield, MO and one daughter: Arlena Fleming of Hicksville, Ohio, four grandchildren, 1 brother; Eugene McMeans of Texas and 2 sisters: Carol (Lynn) Farley of Bearlake, MN and Linda Orsborn of Richmond, IN, nieces and nephews, special cousin: Don Smalley of Middletown.She was preceded in death by her parents, a son-in-law: Nick Fleming, granddaughter; Angela Fleming, Husband: Norman.Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 2:00 PMat Tri County Christian Church with Dr. James Harless officiating.Burial will follow in Miller Cemetery.Friends may call one hour before the services at the church on Saturday.Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.Online Guestbook at: www.ballardandsons.com and FACEBOOK/Ballard and Sons Funeral Home and Cremation Services.The Ballard family is honored to celebrate the life of Glenda Dillon with family and friends.
