Gladys Earl

Daleville...Gladys Earl, 91, resident of Daleville, passed away Monday morning at her residence.She was born in Fort Gay, West Virginia, October 29, 1918, the daughter of Boyd Cyrus and Pernia Ball.She worked for Essex Wire in Plymouth until 1982 and was a member of Greenbriar Baptist Church in West Virginia and attended the Plymouth Church of the Nazarene in Plymouth and Eastview Church of the Nazarene in Anderson.She was preceded in death by her husband: Charles Ray Earl in 1994 and a daughter: Gracie Marie Newkirk in 2009.Survivors include her children: Lee (Monica) Earl of Eaton and Deloris Jean Yoder of Tennessee, 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, 2 sisters: Loretta Robinson of Genoia West.Virginia and Roberta Watts of Wayne, West Virginia.Services will be held in Anderson at the the Eastview Church of the Nazarene on Thursday at 4:00 PM with Rev. Tom Chapman officiating.Friends may call at the church from noon until the time of the services on Thursday and Wednesday from 4-8 at the church.Friends may also call at Van Gilder Funeral Home, 300 West Madison Street, in Plymouth on Saturday from noon until 2:00 with funeral services at 2:00 PM.Burial will follow in New Oak Hill Cemetery in Plymouth.Online guestbook at: www.ballardandsons.com
