Anderson...Gerald Eugene (Gerry) Summers, 68, resident of Anderson, passed away Sunday morning. He will be missed and remembered for the strong man he was.He was born in Alexandria, May 20, 1944, the son of Carroll E. and Margaret Ann Townsend Summers. He lived most of his life in Indiana.He was a member of the Glacial Union for many years. He loved working with his hands, playing pool, fishing, horses, watching the Colts and Pacers play, and Elvis. He was an avid lover of country music and all things western.Survivors are 2 daughters: Laura and Jennifer (Jenni) Summers of Anderson, 9 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren, 2 sisters: Patty Summers Keifer of Tipton and Connie Atchley of Idaho, 1 niece and 2 nephews.He was preceded in death by his daughter: Susette (Suez) Summers and his parents.Visitation will be on Friday from 6-8 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 8212 South Walnut Street in Daleville with closing prayer at 8:00 PM.Cremation will follow.Online Guestbook at: www.ballardandsons.comThe Ballard family is honored to celebrate the life of ""Gerry"" Summers with family and friends
