Middletown....Gerald Francis Powers, 79, resident of Miller's Merry Manor, Middletown, passed away at the facility on Friday evening.He was born in Daleville, Indiana, August 20, 1935 the son of Jesse and Dolores Ritchie Powers.He was a graduate of Sulphur Springs High School and was a maintenance worker at Westwood Golf Course.He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife: Myra Sue Powers and a niece: Eileen Abigail Powers.Survivors are one brother: Glen (Karen) Powers of Daleville, 1 niece, 1 nephew and 4 great nephews.A celebration of his life will be held on Monday at 4:00 PM at Ballard & Sons, 118 South 5th, Middletown with Rev.
