Sulphur Springs...Gerald Lee Lowery, 74, resident of Sulphur Springs, passed away January 2, 2014 at St. Vincent Regional Hospital in Anderson.He was born in Sulphur Springs, August 6, 1939, the son of Robert G. and Marcella Rutherford Lowery.He was a 1957 graduate of Sulphur Springs High School and retired from Sales from Moormans Feeds.He was a members of the Sulphur Springs Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite m Valley of Indianapolis, and the Murate Shrine.He had been an active member of the Jefferson Township Fire Department and a member of Tabor Baptist Church. He attended Honey Creel United Methodist Church.He had owned and operated Lowery's Service Station for many years.Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Patricia jean (King) in 2002.He was a friends to all and opened his home to everyone and loved to add quirky Facebook comments for everyone to see.Survivors are one daughter: Brenda (Tim) Webber of Middletown and 2 sons: Jim Lowery of Sulphur Springs and Jerry Lowery (Dennis Bradley) of Anderson, 6 grandchildren: Kelsey N. Souder (Ryan), Kaleigh S. Lowery (Nathan Waters), Katie E. Goforth (Trent), Brittany A. Webber, Devon Barkley, and Noah A. Lowrey, 1 great grandchild: Ethan Goforth, 5 siblings: Mike Lowery (Janice), Ronnie Lowery, Marsha Gibson, Lisa Lane (Albert), and Phil Lowery (Cindy.Celebration Services will be Tuesday, January 14 at 10:00 am at Sulphur Springs Christian Church with John Girard and C. J.
