Middletown...Georgia Ivena (Williams) Byrer Fattic, 95, resident of Middletown, passed away in Florida on Sunday morning.She was born in Burns City, Indiana, January 24, 1918, the daughter of Wilbur and Della Baker Williams.She was a graduate of Burns City High School and owned and operated the Checkered Flag Inn.She was a member of the Honey Creek Home Economics Club and attended the Honey Creek United Methodist Church and the Pleasant Valley Christian Church.She had lived in Middletown for over 65 years.Survivors are two sons: James Byrer (Rose Kopiec) of Phoenix, AZ and Russell (Marcia) Byrer of St. Petersburg, FL, 3 step children: James (Rexanne) Fattic of Middletown and Bill Fattic of Ft. Myers, FL and 1 step daughter: Cathy (Dave) Nichols of Middletown, 6 grandchildren, 1 brother: John (Wilma) Williams of Muncie, several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents, 1st husband: Ermel Byrer and second husband: Virgil Fattic, sister: Masel Baker and 2 brothers: Lee and Spencer Williams.Celebration services will be held on Saturday at 10:00 am at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown with Marty Ballard officiating.Burial will follow in Miller Cemetery in Middletown.Friends may call on Friday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.Online Guestbook at:
