George Robert Good

Middletown...George Robert Good, 83, resident of Middletown, passed away at his residence September 29, 2015.He was born in Henry County, February 3, 1932, the son of Gilbert and Helen Whitworth Good and was a graduate of Sulphur Springs High School.He was a US Army veteran serving during the Korean Conflict and retired from General Motors (Delco Remy) in 1993 after 38 years of service.He was a member of the Sulphur Springs Masonic Lodge #348, UAW 662 and the American Legion Post 216 of Middletown.Survivors are a daughter: Karen (John) Wichman of Greenfield, 2 step daughters: Judy (Ted) Smith and Jan (Gary) Hanna of Middletown, 4 step grandchildren and 6 step great grandchildren, 2 sisters: Judith Ritchie of Sulphur Springs and Janice (Gus) Replogel of Middletown.He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Jean, sister: Jo Ellen and a nephew Mike.A Celebration of his life will be held on Friday at 4:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown with Marty Ballard officiating.Burial will follow in Miller Cemetery, Middletown.Friends may call on Friday from 2-4 PM.Online Guestbook at: www.ballardandsons.comThe Ballard family is honored to celebrate the life of George Robert Good with family and friends.
