Middletown...Geneva Mae (Barg) Hanson, 89, resident of Middletown, passed away at St. Vincent's Regional Hospital on April 20, 2015.She was born in Counsel Bluffs, IA, May 31, 1925.She was a 1943 graduate of Anderson High School and had been a self employed bookkeeper for many years.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: Donald F. Hanson in 1998, sisters; Peggy Bennett and Lauraine Coe and a daughter: Dona Burkhardt.Survivors are two children: Sherryle Joan Jones of Middletown and Brenda S. (John) Clark of Middletown, caregivers: Caitlin Metzger, Laura Eagle and Becky Hayes, Grandchildren: Michelle Shannon (Jay) of Middletown, Chris Burkhardt (Kelly) of Anderson, Matt Burkhardt of Anderson, a brother: Lyle Barg (Mary) of Fishers, son-in-law: Bob Burkhardt of Middletown, great grandchildren: Andrew Brunner (Katie), Savanna Keller, Tyler and Erin Shannon, Eden, Cade, Lilli, Jack and Jett Burkhardt, great great grandchildren: Mason and Madalyn Brunner, several nieces and nephews.A celebration of her life will be held on Friday at 11:00 am at Ballard & Sons, 118 South 5th, Middletown with Rev.
