Gay Ann Willey

Glendale Kentucky...Gay Ann (Byers) Willey, 69, a life long resident of Anderson, passed away Tuesday, March 30,2004, after and extended illness.She was born Nov. 19, 1934 in Summitville, the daughter of Kenneth and Mary (Williams) Byers.She was a 1953 graduate of Summitville High School and was employed by Delco Remy division of General Moters for 20 years. She retired in 1982.Survivors include two daughters, Rebecca (husband, Ron) Jordan of Anderson and Mary (husband,Jack Smith of Anderson; five sons, Daniel Bennett of Cocoa, Fla., James Willey and fiancee Meg Hill, both of Cocoa Fla., Gary Mark Willey of Cocoa, Fla.,Joseph Anthony Willey and fiancee, Lisa Thornberg of Cocoa, Fla. and David Fredrick Willey of Cocoa, Fla.; 16 grandchildren ; and seven great- grandchildren.Also surviving are special friends, Barb and Alishia Fitzgerald and Harry and granddaughter, Tracy Moneyhun.Services will be conducted at 2 P.M. Saturday at Ballard & Sons Funeral Home, Middletown Chapel, with the Rev. Phil Rogers officiating. Burial will be in Vinson Memorial Park Cemetery in Summitville. Visitation will be from noon to 2 P.M. Saturday at the funeral Home.
