Daleville...Gary Everett Shinabarger, 72, resident of Daleville, passed away early Sunday morning at Seton Specialty Hospital in Indianapolis.He was born in Bloomington, IL, September 18, 1942, the son of Jake and Lena O'Malley Shinabarger.He retired from Delco Remy in Anderson after 31 years of service.He was a veteran of the US Army serving in Germany and lived in Daleville since 1973.He was a former member of the Daleville Masonic Lodge #730 and a past Commander of the American Legion Post 446. He owned and operated Daleville Bait and Tackle Shop. He loved to help people and enjoyed fishing.He was preceded in death by his parents, 1st wife: Donna Carole Shinabarger and 1 sister: Eileen McCoy.He is survived by his wife, Barbara Ann Shinabarger of Daleville, 2 sons: Rick Lee Shinabarger of Kokomo and Jerry W. Shinabarger (Jennifer) of Elwood, 2 step children: Yvonne Penticuff of Byrdstown, TN and Brian Walburn (Joyce) of Yorktown, 1 brother: Bill Shinabarger of Sebring, FL, 8 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.A celebration of Life will take place on Friday at Noon at Ballard & Sons, 8212 South Walnut Street, Daleville with Rev.
