Gary Michael Kennedy

Gary Michael Kennedy, of Middletown, IN, was born to James and Margaret (Huser) Kennedy on January 28, 1944.  He passed away on June 2, 2022 at Community Hospital in Anderson, IN.
He was a 1962 graduate of Sulphur Springs High School and was a member of the Bluebird Basketball Team.
Gary was very talented mechanically and artistically. He was the owner and operator of Kennedy Auto Body in Honey Creek; he was well known for his work on Corvettes. He had the kindest heart and his friends and family can attest to this by the help he was always willing to give them. He loved his pets, history, the lake and most of all, his family.
In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by his daughter, Yvette; brother, David; niece, Michelle Cookman and many others.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 58 years, Treva (Holland) Kennedy; sons, Chad (Cheryl Harvey) Kennedy and Lanny (Casendra) Kennedy; sister, Sharon (Mike) Cookman; aunt, Bonnie (Kennedy) Harrell; grandson, Kameron (Taylor) Kennedy; granddaughters, Allison Kennedy (fiancé, Cole Baird) and Shaylee Kennedy; nephews, Kevin Cookman and Kyle Kennedy; niece, Lori Beth (Dave) Knox; "special daughter", Tammy (Pressley) Kennedy; and beloved pet, Izzy.
Services will be at 5:30p.m. Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home in Middletown. Visitation will be from 4:00pm until the time of service on Wednesday. Private burial will be in Miller Cemetery in Middletown.  Memorial contributions may be given to the Middletown Fire Department, 653 Locust St. Middletown, IN 47356.
